I am continuing to make Halloween Jewelry. I also have created some items for Dia de los Muertos (it is a two-day holiday honoring the spirits of the deceased. The celebration coincides with the Catholic holidays of All Saints’ Day on November 1 and All Souls’ Day on November 2).

These orange and black agate beads made me think of all the mums and marigolds that we see this time of year. The agate beads form a choker with an onyx and carved lava bead drop. It is a piece that looks gorgeous when worn.

I had some left overs from my agate choker so I used them to make a large cross. The cross dangles from a simple stranded necklace using orange glass pearls, czech glass cubes, onyx, and carved lava stone flowers.

I made two rosaries for Dia De Los Muertos altars. One used blue skulls and white crosses while the other used white skulls and blue crosses. I made this necklace with my leftovers.

Beads in Wonderland posted a picture of bangle bracelet they were making this week. I had forgotten about this technique.
It would work perfectly for some of my left over beads. I used black aluminum wire for one. The other two bangles used 14 gauge wire to form the bangle (it is hard to work with) and 22 gauge wire to wrap the beads. I had forgotten how hard the 14 gauge wire. I made the black wire bangle bracelet using 12 gauge aluminum wire and 22 gauge wire to tie on the various beads it was much more pliable. I REALLY like how the black wire looks with these beads.
I found some more spider parts so I made another necklace and some really dangling earrings.

I have been selling these sugar skull connectors for the past month or so. I decided that I wanted to make something with them, too. I connected 3 inch lengths of stainless steel chain to the blue sunstone and sugar skull links that I made. I REALLY like making these long chains with various connectors and stone beads.
